STEF05PUR 일반적인 설명
Offering advanced functionality, the STEF05PUR electronic fuse is engineered to monitor output current and input voltage with precision. Through its integration into a 5V rail, this device effectively shields electronic circuitry from overcurrent and overvoltage events. Equipped with a controlled delay and turn-on time, the STEF05 reacts promptly to overload conditions by limiting the output current to a predetermined safe level. In cases of persistent anomalies such as continuous short-circuits, the E-fuse secures the load by disconnecting it from the power supply, preventing further damage. Moreover, it incorporates thermal protection that notifies monitoring circuits of potential issues via the Fault pin. Unlike traditional mechanical fuses that degrade after a single event, the E-fuse maintains its performance even after intervening in short-circuit or thermal scenarios, ensuring long-term reliability for electronic systems. To reset the device, users can simply recycle the supply voltage or utilize the Enable pin. For applications requiring a 12V power rail, the companion chip with the part number STEF12 is also available
